Kinetick (EOD) Data

Kinetick (EOD) states it shows 10 years of historical data.

With symbol CL, it starts July 2008 thru present day (6 years).

I've tried Data Series Custom Range, but no luck.

Is there anyway to get CL Historical data from 2004. (10 years).

Hello santafe,

When using the current front month, historical daily data is only available back to 2008.

If you use the continuous symbol, ##-##, data is available back to 1996.

That works.
I also use IB live data.

Is there a way to save the historical past CL ##-## and on the same chart connect to live IB for current month CL 08-14.

I basically just need to save the historical data from 1996 and use live data for present day.

The reason is because a specific indicator with not work using only (End of day data). It would be a day late.

Hello santafe,

It is not possible to automatically use the data from ##-## with the current from month.

You would need to manually enter in the OHLC values for the days in the Historical Data Manager's Edit tab.
