Can't open the platform!

Hi - I was trying something a bit experimental with an indicator of mine. The result was that NT crashed and I can't re-open it

In trying to solve this, I did uninstall NT then re-installed it but this has had no effect.

I'd guess I'd need to do something with NT without actually opening it.

Any advice would be much appreciated as I really would like to use it today if possible!

What exactly were you trying before the crash happened?

Its hard to say what is happening without knowing any details on what has caused the crash.

A good first step is to look in the log files to see what may be causing NinjaTrader to not start. If you open NinjaTrader and let it get to the point where it will not start this should create this in the log as the last entry making it easy to see.

You can view this by going into the Documents/NinjaTrader 7/Logs folder and it would be the log file with today’s date.
if you scroll all the way to the bottom it will list what is happening during the start up.

If you are unsure of what to do or don’t see anything that sticks out to you I would ask that you submit this question to our support email at platformsupport[@]ninjatrader.com.

Please attach the Log and Trace files for today so we can view what is happening. The trace files are located in the Documents/NinjaTrader 7/trace folder.
