why automatically disable strategy?

Hi,

I'm running a strategy that shows text messages in the output window if a signal occurs. No automated trading whatsoever. I enter and exit a trade manually. Unfortunately when I exit the trade the strategy is automatically disabled. Why is that? And is there any way to prevent this.

It's a textual strategy, no automated trading, and i would like it to run continuously.

siroki, I would expect that to happen if you exit the position via the Close button, it would trigger the internal close algorithm which would include disabling running strategies on that account / instrument combo.

Yes I did use the Close button. Ok, so you would suggest then buy/sell instead to close the position?

Correct, that would be needed if you want to keep the running strategy instance.
