Two complementary data feeds

My broker is IB. I do trade futures. My strategies are using VIX from CBOE. What will happen if I connect as 1st data feed Rithmic and as 2nd datafeed IB (with CBOE subscription but without Data Bundle subscription)? Is it going to work to utilize simultaneously two data feeds? Please respond ASAP.

Yes, but primary data source does not provide VIX. I this case is it going to fail to backup data feed (backup data feed provides just VIX, but nothing else)?

Hello marekj,

Yes, you will receive index data from IB - the second connection. Rithmic only supports futures data, so all futures data is received from Rithmic. Data for other instrument types (index, stock and forex) will be received from IB.

What will happen if backup connection provides VIX and futures data? Is still futures data will come from primary connection and just VIX from backup connection?
