Daily Continuous 24 hour chart

I am trying to create a 24 hour CL ##-## daily chart for CL. The problem is that the chart that comes up is a day session chart only, despite the fact that Data Series specifies:

Custom Range
7/27/2012
6/25/2014
Nymex Metals / Entergy ETH

I can create a 60Min continuous 24 hour chart with no problem. Just can't seem to get the daily to work.

My data provider is Rithmic thru Vision Financial. My global merge policy for CL is "MergeNonBackAdjusted"

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Thank you for your post.

Daily bar open and close times are set at the data server. In this case, open and close times would match the extended trading hours session excluding some after hours trading. For a true 24 hour bar, I would recommend that you create a 1440 minute chart using the Default 24/7 session template setting to work around this limitation.
