required bars

under the strategies tab in 6.5, when you add a new strategy... it asks what is the minimum required bars. I am not sure if I should be 5 or if I should be 1000 into there as the value. Because I have a 500 EMA line, which technically I think requires about 1000 bars to calculate correctly. Other than that, my strategy itself only calls up information about the last 5 candlesticks prices. So again, I don't know if I need to say 1000 or if I can say just 5? In the minimum required bars box.... when adding a strategy to be run. I did read help and it didn't answer this specifically.

If you don't know then leave at default of 20.
