I encountered an error when trying to connect to Interactive brokers' TWS. The error message says NT cannot find register key. See attachment for error message.
TWS can be launched without issue. NT cannot be launched without issue. But this error prevents them connecting.
I have two IB accounts. NT has no problem in connecting with live account. But connecting with IB's demo account caused this error.
IB says this error is not caused by TWS.
