strategy parameters

When I make a change to the default value of a parameter variable in the code for a strategy and then compile it, it does not update in the parameter list in the backtest dialog of the strategy analyzer. How do I refresh the list to have the new default values display?

This is expected haviour, since the last values in the properties box are maintained.

So do I understand correctly that once a strategy is selected in the analyzer, the default values for the parameters that are displayed will not update with changes made to the underlying code? If this is true, is there some way to reload the code into the analyzer so that changes to the default param values will display?

Unfortunately not (apart from restarting NT).

How to reset the Parameters

I was having trouble with this as well, and i just figured out how to reset the parameter values. All you have to do is choose a different strategy and then click cancel in the dialog box. Try that and it should reset the values to your original code.
