sluggish loading

Ninja has been very sluggish and freezing the past few days.

I did notice something different I had not noticed before.
When it slows up and hangs, I noticed on the status bar that data is being loaded going back years. I see chart data being loaded from as far back as 07/08 going through every month and year up until now. It does this on all the instruments in my list.

I have not noticed this before and wondered if this is common?

Has anyone seen this before ?

I dont remember changing anything in any settings.
