How to add an indicator alert

Hi,

I have an indicator (DivergenceInputSeries) that signals divergence on the chart by printing arrows on the chart its attached to.

Is it possible to have these alerts show up in Market Analyzer?

If so how is it done?

Hello reset58,

Unfortunately this is not supported by default. Alert conditions in the Market Analyzer can only use numeric values in the comparison condition. More information regarding alert conditions can be found at the link below.

You could create a custom indicator that triggers alerts as per the conditions you program and load it via an Indicator column in the Market Analyzer.

It's not going to work in every situation, because every indicator functions, and is coded, differently.
