Price Alerts

Is there a way to put on a price alert on a chart (or anywhere in NT for that matter) so I can be alerted when a market reaches a specific price level? This way, I can do something else and focus on the chart once a certain price level is reached.

Thank you for your post.

You can use the PriceAlert indicator to be alerted of a price in NinjaTrader. You will have to keep the chart open while running this indicator. It can run in the background and will send a 'doorbell' sound when the desired price is reached.

You can access this indicator from the 'Indicator' menu in your chart

• Open the chart you wish to use in NinjaTrader
• Right mouse click on the chart and select 'Indicators'
• In the Indicators menu select 'PriceAlert'
• Click 'New'
• In the menu to the right you will enter the price value in the row titled 'Price'
• After entering the price select 'Apply' and then 'OK'

Its maybe gonna help you nice indicator named Label Horizontal lines Alerts , and simply u can draw horizontal line and this indicator will respond on this line by sound alert or to output window every time, when price hit a level. Its simply and very usefull indicator.
