TF (Mini Russell 2000 future) & ICE Exchange

    Hi everyone

I've always been very happy with my Kinetick data feed but I was very disappointed to learn today from Kinetick:
The TF (Mini Russell 2000 future) is traded on the ICE Exchange. Currently, Kinetick does not support the ICE Exchange, so we are unable to provide data for the TF future.
So my question is: how do I get a data feed in NinjaTrader for the TF?

    Thanks very much in advance.

    Hi arbuthnot,

CQG, Continuum, Rithmic, and Interactive Brokers all support the ICE exchange and you are able to chart the TF with one of these feeds.

Below is a link to a trial with AMP/CQG.

        Hi again

Regarding a feed to the ICE Exchange, I've contacted those firms and the leads Chelsea gave me certainly work.

However - and esp. for the information of anyone reading this thread who's new to futures - in order to get an ICE feed, you have to set up an account with an FCM* (in other words, futures broker).

What I was very specifically hoping for was a direct feed independent of a broker, such as is possible with Kinetick with other exchanges (except, as this thread shows, they don't do an ICE feed).

        * I'd never heard of an 'FCM' before. For someone like me who knows little about futures (I'm not US based), Investopedia explains an 'Futures Commission Merchant - FCM' as:

A futures commission merchant is able to handle futures contract orders as well as extend credit to customers wishing to enter into such positions. These include many of the brokerages that investors in the futures markets deal with.

          Hello arbuthnot,

I use eSignal as my datafeed so that I can receive a feed from ICE to trade futures.

I too had the sane problem with Kinetick and I switched to eSignal 2 months ago as a result. I've been happy since.

Hey, Lucius, that's really helpful. I'll contact esignal.

            Thanks a lot.

I've indeed contacted esignal and they can certainly do a feed.

However, the TF doesn't come cheap. They quoted me $245 (+ local taxes) for the TF, inc. Forex and other exchanges. At least, I now know where I can go if I realy want to trade this market without having to go through an FCM.

              Lucius, again thanks.
