    no default constructor defined

I have just come into a situation where an indicator set I have will not work with windows 8.1 but when I load them to windows 7 they do. The error I get with windows 8.1 is :

unable to create instance of class '___________________' Most likely there is no default constructor defined. or the default constructor does not work correctly: Value cannot be null.

Where the blank is the name of the indicators that I tried to load, they are in a setup file and are .dll's the developer has no idea why it wont work with windows 8.1 and has no way around it right now. Appreciate any assistance you can give me.

Needless to say I need to figure a resolution. I don't want to roll back to windows 7.
