hi, when I place an ma on a chart, sometimes the line prints
Over the price bars sometimes it prints Under the price bars

what causes the Over / Under print and how do I set it for Over ?

Hello tradr,

I believe what you are referring to is called the Z-Order.

The Z-Order is the order that items are placed on the chart.

Depending on the order that the items are added to the chart this can cause indicators or drawing objects to either draw under or over another object.

This can be changed by clicking the object or indicator so it is selected, then holding the shift key on the keyboard and scrolling with the middle mouse button.

This changes the order of the selected object causing it to either draw on top of the other objects or draw behind it.
