Clarification on using NT on multi pc's

I have read various threads about been able to use NT on 2 computers; I am seeking clarification on whether I can use my lifetime licence on 2 pc's if only 1 pc connects to a live feed at a time.

Like others who have asked the question, I would like to install NT on a laptop to perform strategy testing when I am not using my "trading pc" (which will also not be connected to a live feed at the same time), so would not be using the laptop for live trading, but would like to be able to pull in historical data from my broker if need be, in addition to having the portability of testing strategy's on my train journey home.

Thank you for writing in.

Your license key can be used on 2 computers but not simultaneously, as this would be in violation of our End License User Agreement. If you have no interest in live trading on your laptop, you could use the Free Edition License. You would just need to create your account connection to receive the data.

Thanks for the clarification, does a demo licence work indefinitely? I was under the impression it would expire after a set time.

If you are talking about the Free Edition which is sent to you after downloading the software, this license doesn't expire and can be used indefinitely.
