    Loading workspaces/charts with indicators from protected assembly fails

    Hi NT team

    I have exported a protected assembly consisting of several indicators and strategies. To locate the problem I just tried a protected assembly solely consisting of the used indicator (and its associated indicators). this also did not work.

    I have imported the assemby successfully. I can run strategies from within the protected assembly. I can also add the indicators to a chart, save a template, etc. However, when I save the workspace and restart NT, NT will not load correctly and abort.

    Where does this problem come from? And how can I solve it? The trace file states
    2014-05-11 10:42:01:696 ERROR: Failed to restore form 'NinjaTrader.Gui.Chart.ChartForm': Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

    I have attached the relevant portion of the trace file.

    Please help.

    Thank you for your note.

    This is an installation related message. Please follow the instructions below to repair your installation of NinjaTrader.
    • Close all running applications.
    • Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
    • From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
    • Reboot your machine.
    • Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:
      http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php

    Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

      Thank you for the instructions. I followed all steps and the error and related message is 100% exactly the same as before. Any other suggestion?

        Please send me your log and trace files to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com for today so that I may look into what occurred. You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.
