    time gap on 5minute chart

    Hi,
Just opened up a 5 minute chart, not sure why there would be a gap between 2:20am and 19:30pm?
(file screen cap attached). it`s Thursday the 1st of May.

    Hello jitterbug,

Can you please right click in the chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data' and check if the missing data is loaded.

What time zone is used as per your PC clock? Could it be you changed it?

To what data feed provider you connect in NinjaTrader?

Yes, this is as expected. Charts in NinjaTrader reflect time as per the time zone of your PC clock.

Please shut down NinjaTrader and change your PC clock's time zone to NY time.

Subsequently navigate to the folder below.

        C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db

        Delete the "cache" folder.

Start NinjaTrader and charts will reflect time in US Eastern time zone.

Do you receive realtime data in the chart?

Do you load the missing data if you right click in the chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'?

To what data feed provider do you connect in NinjaTrader?

It`s a demo account linked to MBtrading demo feed but I presume its live up to date charts from what ive experienced with their demo accounts in the past...

realtime data for the 5 minute chart is streaming through...

its connected to MBtrading in NT.

Refreshing historical data doesn't bring me to the current NY time..

                Thank you for clarifying.

Can you please open a Time and Sales window at Control Center-->File-->New. Check if the time stamps of the incoming data match with the time of your PC clock.

that looks empty, but on changing my pc to NY time, it matches the chart now, screen cap attached.

                  Thanks Jason.

Please right click in the Time and Sales window and select Instruments. Select the AUDUSD and check if you receive data and if the time stamps match.
