Receive signals remotely

Greetings,

I want to know if it is possible for a strategy to receive signals remotely from a server. Once received the strategy would then enter/close/cancel as necessary. If so what API can I use to get started with this?

Hi Taz,

There is no functionality built into NinjaScripts that would allow you to make changes or receive signals.

It may be possible for you to call a website and get a value and parse this, however, this is not supported by NinjaTrader.

There is a script that calls a website on our forums that I am linking below. This script no longer works because the website address that it calls has changed, but the method this script uses to do a httpwebwebrequest is the same.
