Login failed

Hey.

Ive been using NT/IB for a while now. I didnt use my computer for the last 4 days. I came back home and tried to log in this morning and got this message.

"Login failed: IB Adapter MessageLoop No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

Can you tell us what version of TWS you have installed? Is this TWS 938.1?

Also, what version of NinjaTrader do you have installed? Our current release is V7.0.1000.22 which you can check under Help--> About

Hello Joe,

You are using an incorrect version of TWS, we only support TWS 938.1. Please do the following and let us know if this corrects your issue:
- Uninstall your TWS
- Remove your IB account connection
- Install TWS 938.1 from our website here:

- Recreate your IB account connection by following the instructions listed on the same page in the link above
- Connect

Thats weird as I have been using it up until last week. I just uninstalled TWS and installed the new version. When I opened up NT it automatically connected to TWS and seems to be working. I did not have to remove and re-make the NT connection.

It could be that you can connect with a different version than the one we officially support. However, when you run into issues we will always ask people to upgrade to version 938.1
