IB Data Limitations

Hello

I would like to figure out how I can load historical data on to my computer from Interactive Brokers so that I can access it at any time without running into the data limitations that IB places on accessing historical data.

Hello jg123,

You can download historical data at Control Center-->Tools-->Historical Data Manager-->Download-tab. Once the historical data is loaded, it is saved in NinjaTrader. You can check this under the Edit-tab of the Historical Data Manager.

As you mention, unfortunately IB has a limitation on how much historical data you can load. If you wait 5 minutes, you will be able to load historical data again. More information can be found at the link below.
