Some futures charts not updating in real time

Hi,

I am connected to Continuum and am using version NT7.0.1000.22 . When I connect I get real time data feed complete with bid/ask and volume data for some futures charts but not all. For the charts where I do not get real time updates, if I Reload all Historical Data then the charts are brought up to date to that time, but no new bars are printed. The bid and ask prices are the same price and do not update.

Any suggestions as to what the problem is?

Can you please provide a few examples of instruments which operate in this way?

Sorry Kyle - I should have put this in the original post. Futures charts that are working OK for me are NQ, ES, TF, CL, 6J. Charts that have the problem I described are BRN, Z, FDAX. These are the only instruments I am watching so I have not checked others. I have sent a query to the broker in case it is a data feed problem, but no reply yet. I would have thought that if there was a data feed problem then I would have no data at all for these instruments.

For the instruments that are working NQ 06-14, ES 06-14, CL-05-14, YM 06-14, TF 06-14, 6J 06-14. For the instruments that have the problem Z 06-14, BRN 05-14, FDAX 06-14

Please select Z 06-14, BRN 05-14, FDAX 06-14 in the Orders tab of the Control Center menu. Do you see updates to bid, ask and last price in this window or are these fields showing 'n/a' instead?

Hello cunnke,

Do you see any error messages in the Control Center-->Log-tab that refer to QFA (Z), QO (BRN) and DD (FDAX). I suspect realtime data is not supported for these instruments as per your Continuum connection. If so, please contact your broker to enable realtime data as per these instruments. Unfortunately we cannot do this from our end.

Charts not updating

Hi,
In my open workspace I have 4 charts open for the FDAX 12-14
The price ladder works and one of the charts updates in realtime, the other 3 are hap hazzard and sluggish in updating even to the point where they don't, if one gets stuck I click on it with my mouse and it updates as long as I keep clicking it updates if I stop and wait it does not update ?? If I leave it for 10 mins and click on the 5 min chart 2 candles appear. I've also tried reloading historical data it works but the problem still exist.

All chart properties are set to the same data series in this case Eurex Equity Index Futures

I've changed nothing from the beginning of my session but slowly this problem has surfaced.

Does it make a difference if you close the 3 charts and open up new ones?

How much workspaces do you have opened in total?

Do you have any custom or 3rd party indicators applied in the charts? If so, please test charts without these indicators and check if the issue remains.

Hello I only have one workspace open .. anyway after closing and opening a new chart that one works as it should updating immediately as the price ladder moves.

Can you let me know what might have caused this I'm sure you've come across it before
