Same Sim 101 on 2 computers

    Hi,

I use a Sim 101 demo account with data feed from MB-Trading at my first residence. My second residence is in the city I work. Is it possible to use the same free license-key to get connected with the same account from different locations ? Or is it only possible with a non-demo account ? Account-Details (Performance, positions) are saved in a local DB. If I would use a dedicated server it should be possible or am I completly wrong ?
    Thank you for clarification .

    Hello xsaver,

Yes, you can use the free license key on a second computer and trade the sim101 account. However you will not have access to trade history from the first computer from the sim101 account. Trade history is saved in the database which resides natively on your computer.

Where is that database saved. If you can copy it you can transfer it.

        Hello rcurran92,

        Thanks for your reply.

That is correct. It will however overwrite the database of the system you move it to.
It is located under Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db and it is named ninjatrader.sdf
You can also use the built in backup and restore utility to do this: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...p__restore.htm
