Can I freeze my historic data?

Hello,

I load historic data from csv files and I also connect via data feeds. It seems to me, that if I open a chart while connected over a feed, the historic data series gets overwritten or extended, and it stays that way (bad). Is that the default behaviour, i.e. does data from data feeds overwrite/extend the historic, manually loaded data?

If that's the case, is there a way I can freeze my historic data - basically disabling data feeds from overwriting it?

Thank you for your post.

If you do not want NinjaTrader to load data automatically from the servers please go to Tools-->Options-->Data tab-->Uncheck "Get data from server (if available)-->then click Ok.
