Cutting off a ray to make a line
Pretty basic question. When I draw a ray, I often want to cut it off later. One way I can do that is to just delete the ray and redraw it as a line instead, but that's cumbersome if the ray spans several days or more. Is there a way to just cut off the rest of a ray?Last edited by Yellowstone; 04-02-2014, 11:07 AM.Tags: None

They are just objects. Have you thought about creating a method to create a composite object, and use parameters to cut off the latter part?Originally posted by Yellowstone View PostPretty basic question. Then you just call the method, with "ray" to draw the whole thing, and with anything else to draw only the line part.Code:private void DrawCompositeLineOrRay(string type, ...) { DrawLine(...); if (type.ToLower() == "ray") DrawRay(...) return; }
