Chart horizontal compressing/decompressing

Is it possible to compress and decompress the chart horizontal without automacially adjusting the chart by ninjatader?

Thanks for the post.

To compress or decompress the horizontal axis, left mouse click in the x- axis margin and move the mouse cursor to the left or right. Alternatively, use the Hot Keys CTRL + Up and CTRL + Down.

Thank you for your reply. I know how to compress or uncompress but when i do this the chart jumps to a higher or lower resoltion. How can i stop this behaviour of ninjatrader ?

This is how it works so it's normal behavior.

Could it you are perhaps looking for a zoom of the chart? Please check the same link as provided before and then check under the section 'How to zoom in and out in a chart'.
