IB Disconnect issue - is there a fix?

Hi All,

I choose IB as my broker and trade Equities, Forex and Futures. Since getting NT and IB setup, I have been struggling on a daily basis with the IB forced reset. I am using some automated trading strategies and the forced reset means that my strategies stop working for several hours per day.

Is there a fix for? If not, I need another solution.

Is there a broker where I can trade equities, forex and options at good prices and get the same or better service as IB? The only other solution I know of is TradeStation which has it all in one.

Thanks for the post.

Unfortunately there is no way around except using the Gateway connection. This is not officially supported in NinjaTrader but there are users out there that use this connection.

Please keep in mind that this is an unsupported setup so if you decide to use this and run into issues we might not be able to provide support.

We have one other broker partner as well that supports Futures, Forex and Equities trading. They are MB Trading but have just like IB a shut down period as well where they perform a recycle of their servers.
