weekly chart ES 03-14 difference

    weekly chart ES 03-14 difference

    the weekly Chart Shows a last weeks high at 1884.75 but it was at 1887.50 why i have a difference?

    Thank you for your note.

    Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.


    Not all data providers offer Extended Trading Hours daily bars.

    Since the high of 1887.50 occurred outside the Regular Trading Hours, you are seeing the high that was placed during Regular Trading Hours (9:30am - 4:15pm US Eastern).

    Knowing who you connect to can confirm this information.

      first Connection is Rithmic and second IQFeed

      i tried different session templates but same issue, when i data Provider the Problem is why only in the weekly Chart?

        Hello,

        When you connect to Rithmic, the Daily bar data provided is in RTH, or Regular Trading Hours.

        IQFeed sends Daily bars as ETH, or Extended/Electronic Trading Hours.

        You can change your Connection order so that you are connected to IQFeed first if you wish to view the ETH Daily bars.

        Additionally, you can open a 1440 minute based chart (1440 minutes in a day) and use a specified Session Template.

        For Example: when viewing the ES, CME US Index Futures ETH or CME US Index Futures RTH

          when i use IQFeed for the first Connection i have still the wrong weekly bars what can i do?

            Hello,

            Ensure that you are refreshing the data.

            Right click in the chart -> Reload All Historical Data.

              afther refreshing it works for a couple of hours and than still wrong numbers

                Put ATTN: Cameron in the subject field and a link to this forum post in the body.

                Please provide me with your latest Log and Trace files.
                You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

                The log file will be named log.20140313.txt

                You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

                The trace file will be named trace.20140313.txt
