Trading same pair on different time frame

Hi,

How can I for example trade the EURUSD on a Daily time frame/chart, and also trade the same pair on lower time frames like a 3min chart for example, without getting things mixed up?

I basically want to trade the EURUSD on 2 different time frames ( Daily and 3min) but keep the daily trades on a separate chart from the 3min chart so I dont make any mistakes confusing the two...

Sure there must be a way?

Hello Synergy,

Unfortunately this is not supported. You cannot trade separate in 2 different time frames. The orders will be matched as per time of occurrence. So if a buy order fills in the daily time frame and then a sell order fills in the minute time frame, they will be paired as a trade.

How about if I just use the software for analysis and place the Daily trades on my broker software instead?

That way i should be able to trade the lower time frames without messing with the Daily trades, unless ninjatrader will pick up on those trades somehow?

NinjaTrader will likely pick up those orders an display them as External.

Orders will be matched on time of occurrence on the broker side as well. I do not see how you can trade 2 time frames separate in one account.
