After installing a kaspersky Internet Security demo, on
starting ninja, kaspersky blocks ninja's startup with a
message offering to disinfect AT.Market.dll then restart the
computer.
It offers no opt-out - only disinfection.
So Ninja is unable to start.

Hello sezor,

I suggest to configure Kaspersky so it does not block NinjaTrader on startup. I am not familiar with Kaspersky. I searched the web and found the link below.

For the 2014 version, it's Additional, Threats & exclusion settings, Manage trusted apps
I selected "Do not monitor app activity" but there are other options.
Seems to work.
