Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me.

I am using IB IDEALPRO and I am having a problem plotting the volume data .,I am not sure if it is because IB class 1 lot as a 100,000 size, but when I plot the volume I get lots of bars at the same level, which dosnt match fx data from Gain. is it NT not displaying the data because of the huge levels ?
or is it a fault with IB.

Thank you for your post.

The volume data comes directly from your data feed provider. In this case the volume data comes from IB. It is difficult to compare volume data from one data feed to another especially when viewing forex volume as the volume is not centralized directly at one exchange.

what I need to know is, does NT have any limit to the size of a volume bar ?

as the ones I am getting from IB wont go any higher than 2147 mil

Correct. That's NT's internal limitation
