    history socket error message

    I use CQG and IQFeed - whenever I start up now, or load a instrument, i get error messages that I am "unable to connect to the history socket" - I get this error on an assortment of etf's and futures, all of which I subscribe to. I have spent time with a tech guy from IQfeed who says I am getting data and that it is a Ninja problem.

    Thanks for your post.

    What is the order of your connections?

    What is one instrument that causes this error?

    What interval are you using with that instrument?

    Are there any error messages in the Log tab of the Control Center in yellow? (other than this particular message)

      An fyi for others: I encountered the "unable to connect to the history socket" error message today . Message seems to originate from iqfeed. Deleting database did not solve the issue for me. Iqfeed support had me entirely disconnect from any iqfeed server, by shutting down all connecting apps and then reconnecting. All was well for me following this.
