Win 8.1

Hello Support,

I would like to install NT7 64-Bit on my new Win8.1 machine. Initially using SIM license for testing first then eventually applying/migrating my license to the new machine.

Had a few questions:
1. The download page is still asking .NET Framework 3.5. Would it work with .NET Framework 4.5 which is already installed on Win8.1?

2. It seems download page is only 32 bit versions? Where can I get NT7 64 bit version?

Hello,

Thank you for your note.

1. Because .NET is built into Windows 8 you do not need to install any specific version of the .NET Framework.

2. When you install NinjaTrader you should have two icons on your desktop.

You should have two shortcuts on your desktop (NinjaTrader 7, NinjaTrader 7 64-bit) the shortcut without the 64-bit label is the 32 bit version.

This can also be found from Windows Start button -> Type NinjaTrader -> NinjaTrader 7 64 bit.
