Purpose of Market Analyzer

Could someone help me out here please.

In short, what is the Market Analyzer good for?

I checked the HELP section - it explains where to find it, what one can change in it etc etc. Found a 45minute video on YouTube but that again goes right into how to work this tool.

Am simply looking for some kind of concise statement/description anywhere that says the purpose of this tool is to ....

Hello sandman,

The Market Analyzer window can be used to display different values, like last price, ask price, bid price, indicator values for a list of instruments.

The Market Analyzer window can also be used to create alerts.

It analyzes a basket of equities in real time to determine if your trade conditions have been met.

That is what I suspected but I wasn't sure. Thus if I have a what I consider perfect trade set up, I could set up the Market Analyzer for 100 different instruments to alert me when that set up is present for which of the 100 instruments. Correct?
