Silver SI Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers

I would like to know the symbol mapping for SI $5000 contract for Ninjatrader to IB

Thank you for your post.

The symbol mapping for Interactive Brokers for this instrument is SI|||5000.

This instrument should be pre-mapped in NinjaTrader to work with Interactive Brokers by default.

I would recommend that you reset your instruments instead of changing the mapping. This will correct any other instruments that may have been altered.

To do this:

• Disconnect from all providers
• Click Tools -> Options... -> select the Data tab -> click the Reset Instruments button
• Restart NinjaTrader

If the instrument is still unable to chart in NinjaTrader after restarting and reconnecting please make sure you are able to chart this instrument in Trader WorkStation.

Hmm even with SI|||5000, oddly SI 05-14 is not receiving any market data.
Is there anything else I can try?

Please manually attach your most recent log and trace.

You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named "log.20140228.txt"

You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named "trace.20140228.txt"
