Problems with historical data for nymex contracts

I'm using NT6.5b10 and having issues with the following contracts:
QG-##-##
QM-##-##
which are set-up as globex futures (ie the default setting for my NT)
(though the non-continuous ones have problems too)

I got the minute data from opentick through the reload-hist-data feature.
I know the data is there because I can actually export it.
(btw, could you add a feature that lets you 'browse' the historical data you have?
nothing fancy, just something that tells you what kind, from where to where and whether it contains any holes)

However, whenever I try to chart it, all I get is a blank window as if there is no data.

Any clues ?

I have never had any luck with exactly the same problem

I see some problems with ZW## as well.
I have historical data back to 2003 but I can only see a chart back to 2006.

Are there holes in my data that cause this ?

just as an update, I retried a format data series from within the QM/QG charts and the data was retrieved again, and suddenly I have the charts working.

I don't really get this... :-/

Sometimes if you are pulling a chart with a lot of data it takes awhile for it to populate. Please ensure you wait for it to completely go through the loading phase.

Nah, that's not it.
The 'loading data' box was open for a while, then it disappeared, and the charts where empty.
There was nothing going on after that.

I still can't load CL btw.
ETA: Though, that's a different case - I can't even download the historical data for that

ETA2: So I've been playing around with ZW##, loading 2007-2008 minute chart and it worked.
So I extended it back to 2006 and that worked too. So I tried extending it back to 2005 and after a lot of 'retrieving' the chart was empty. When I tried to go back to a range within 2007, that didn't display either!
It almost seems like NT doesn't like something about the data, then throws a fit and refuses to display parts it displayed before...
