Strategy's correct approach.

Hi guys, I have a little question for you :-)
I'm developing some strategies that I'm testing on some instruments (futures) and I see that for some futures are positive but for others very negative. Therefore, is it possible to develop a single strategy for any instrument or is it better to develop a strategy for a single instrument? Are there particular characteristics that I have to consider when I develop my strategy?

This will get you started in the right direction to knowing what kind of strategy that you do want to write and use.
