Replay Kinetick Historical data in NT

I have just subscribed to kinetick data provider so I could backtest my strategies using their historical data. My question is how do I download and replay the data in NT. I want to backtest my strategies using ES data going back as far as January 2005. Thanks for all your help.

Hello iyano,

You can download market replay data at Control Center-->File-->Utilities-->Download Replay Data. Unfortunately, there is only data available up to a year.

Please note that if you backtest strategies in the Strategy Analyzer, it will not use market replay data, but historical data you load from Kinetick.

If NT only has data available going back one year, how then do I download and replay kinetick's 10+ years worth of data to do my backtesting?

Hello Onai,

You can use Kinetick's data in the Strategy Analyzer to backtest strategies.

If you like to run strategies on market replay data, you cannot use Kinetick's data. Market replay data can only be downloaded from our server or you can record your own market replay data.
