Forex Tick Chart

Just strated using Ninja with MB Trading feed and so far everything is working except tick charts. The drop down menu does not even displays tick otions , only minutes and up.
I know some uses Ninja for tick forex charting but somehow I'm not able to figure it out how.
Can somebody show me a link or other sources of instructions how this could be done?

Thank you for contacting us.

It is possible to create a tick chart using your data provider however tick bars are not an option in the toolbar which you mentioned. To select a tick based interval, right click in the chart and select Data Series then use the Period Type and Period Value properties to set your tick based bar.

Thanks Kyle that worked. One more question . Is there a way to have a line on the chart as price moves up and down? There is a label on the right but would be helpful if I could see a line representing price movement.

There is not a utility which is included with NinjaTrader by default which could be used to achieve this goal however you could accomplish this with custom programming.
