CL Contact Months at same price on chart?

Hi,

I have just charted 04 April to find that the historical coming in is exactly the same as the data on the current 03 contract. Why is this?

As you can see, both April and march are showing a high around the .35, which is obviously not correct.

When the April loads, it dumps a few cents to then get in line with the spread, but why is the correct April historical not loading?

Thank you for your note.

This is because the current date has not passed the rollover date in NinjaTrader. However, you can manually change the roll over date.
Please see the steps below

Tools -> Instrument Manage
Search for CL
Left click CL -> Press Edit
Select the Misc tab -> Scroll to the bottom
Left click the Contract Months field then press the '...' button
Select the 04-14 contract on the left column then set the Rollover Date field to 2/14/2013 or 14/2/2013 depending on your regional settings
Press 'OK' on all the open windows and then reload your chart -> Right click in the Chart -> Reload All Historical Data.
