Chart traderon laptop

For some reason when I right click on chart trader I am not getting the option to set a limit order at that price could you please list the reasons this would happen. I have run into this problem before. I just don't understand when this will work and when it wont? I sort of remember some thing in a training event about laptops creating a problem?

Hello Plutus'sfavor,

Please note that you need to right click in the chart and not in ChartTrader. If you right click above the current market price, you can select a sell limit order. If you right click below the current market price, you can submit a buy limit order. More information can be found at the link below.

brother I am telling you I clicked about the and below with a right click no option to place a limit order. could it be because the trading session was not active??

Yes, that could be the case. You will need to receive realtime data in the chart to submit orders.
