ES ##-## Historical Data is Not Loading

    Howdy--

I just imported a bunch of ES data back to 2003. To create the ES ##-## data, I just changed the file name of each contract to ES ##-##.txt (ie, ES 03-03.txt was changed to ES ##-##.txt) and then imported. I did this on each of the 4 contracts in 2003-2008.

I confirmed via the Historical Data Manager's Edit tab that the data was there (plus I also confirmed that it was there via the db file's tick data folder.

So the data is there and is imported.

I then open up a ES ##-## chart and try and load 3650 days of data, but the resulting chart only loads data back to 2009.

I've tried restarted NT7 multiple times to no avail.

I've tried "Reload All Historical Data" from the right click menu within the chart to no avail.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help.

      It looks like I have 2000 - 2004 and then 2009 - 2014.

      That's weird.

When I imported the data, I made sure that "Generate Tick and Day Bars" were both selected.

      Thoughts?

      Thanks,

So I've gone back and re-imported via the Historical Data Manager.

Things look like they are starting to show up.

Maybe I didn't have the "Generate Minute" and "Day" bars from imported data...

In any event, hopefully this will solve my problem.

        Thanks,

        Aventeren

My solution ended up being a NT restart after I imported the data AND (and this I found was the kicker), not reloading any chart's historical data after the data import and before the restart.

          All best,
