Compatible Brokers in Canada?

Thanks, but PFG doesn't have near what I need. IB has far more to offer, but neither of them handle registered investments like RRSP or TFSA. I am currently checking with some of the other brokers to check if any of them offer an API. If so then it may be possible to get NT to work with it even if we need to build an interface.

As one might expect, the landscape of the trading industry has changed quite a bit since this thread was started in 2012. As of this post, Canadian residents can use the NinjaTrader platform to trade futures with either GFF Brokers (clearing through Ironbeam) or Interactive Brokers.

Unfortunately not. You can trade with GFF Brokers or Interactive Brokers in the NinjaTrader Desktop platform if you reside in Canada. Please send us an email at "support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com" if you are interested.

Is NT Brokerage available in Canada in 2024? or do I need to trade with GFF Brokers or Interactive Brokers? are there any other brokers available in Canada? Could I use the NinjaTrader Desktop platform if I trade with those brokers?
