Chart Candle Time Setting

My charts are set to bar close as the time for each candle. How can I set the time for each candle to the time the bar starts to form.

You can't.

NinjaTrader stamps time-based bars (day, minute, second) with the closing time of each bar.

For tick-based bars the timestamp represents the last tick of each bar.

As Harry mentioned, it is not currently possible to change bar time stamping to represent the start of a bar. This is an option which I understand is being considered for future releases however and I will forward your support for this type of formatting to development for further consideration.

Thank you for your post.

All bars within NinjaTrader 8 will be timestamped based on the time that the bar closes. A change is being considered for future releases of NinjaTrader 8 however so I will forward your support for this time format to our development staff.
