market Replay

When I do the Market Replay I get an error message that says

Failed to execute DB job 'StrategyUpdateJob': A foreign key value cannot be inserted because a corresponding primary key value does not exist. [ Foreign key constraint name = FK_nt_strategy2execution_000000000000028B ]

How do I go about using the market replay. Is there any way to delete the replay data and get the data again.

This error message indicates some database corruption.


To troubleshoot the situation, I would recommend to reset your database:


Please follow the instructions below to reset the NinjaTrader database.

• Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
• Select the "Data" tab
• Press the "Reset DB" button
• Press the "OK" button
• Restart NinjaTrader and re-test the connection on Market Replay

Market Replay

Ok I went to the cache folder and deleted all the folders there, I think those are the market replay. I resetted the DB and downloaded the replay data and it is working now.

For reference while moving forward, all market replay data is saved in the following folder on your file system:

• C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data
