Two Ninja Installs

Can you have two separate installs of Ninja installed on the same computer, and use them at different times?

Hello Brian,

Thank you for your post.

Although there is no way to have two seperate NinjaTrader applications of the same version on a single computer, you can have two seperate NinjaTrader 7 folders that you can toggle between.

Please follow these steps to be able to toggle between two different NinjaTrader instances.

1. Copy your license key from Control Center -> Help -> License Key...
2. Close all running applications.
3. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
4. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
5. Rename the NinjaTrader 7 folder (something like NinjaTrader 7 Back Up)
   
6. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:
   Download
   

Once you've reinstalled NinjaTrader, you will now have a new NinjaTrader 7 folder. By renaming the folders you will be able to switch between one NinjaTrader and another.

I have another problem.

I requested a direct license from support, but the one that Ninja sent me doesn't have CQG as an available connection.

I sent an email awhile ago, but haven't gotten a response yet.

I am using AMP brokerage with Ninja free direct version 20.

Can you help with this?
