market replay.. FXCM data? no L1 or L2 data?

    market replay.. FXCM data? no L1 or L2 data?

    I cant get any data for market replay through FXCM. pop up states no L1 or L2 data available.

    I know when I used to have CQG through AMP, I never had this problem..only w FXCM

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    NinjaTrader servers would be used with either provider when downloading Market Replay data. Can you clarify which instrument and date you are trying to download data for so that I can test here?

        everything looks correct in instrument manager and each pair has been added to my instrument list

          I've tested on my end and yes this is currently expected. Forex replay data is not currently available. An attempt to restore this market replay data will be made in the near future.

          You're welcome to try and obtain it from one of our third party market replay vendors and ask them if they have access to this data:

            thanks

            I downloaded data from marketreplaydata.com but I cant seem to get it into NT7.

            how do I transfer this data into NT7? it is currently saved on my desktop

              Replay data is stored in (MY)Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data

              You will want your replay files to be placed in this directory. (when NinjaTrader is closed)

                still nothing.. I placed data files in NT7 data folder..still no replay data available..

                I could not separate downloaded data files from the marketreplay.com downloader icon on my desktop..so I moved the downloader icon into NT7 data folder. I checked the NT7 data folder and the downloaded files are included in the folder..so I have no clue what to do next..

                  I just saw this in instrument manager panel:

                  exchange: default
                  expiry: 01-13

                  the expiry is off...IOW..I cant manually adjust it

                      I don't know for sure that there downloader will have the Forex data either. You will want to contact them directly for more information on this.
