US Dollar

Don't know if this is the right forum for this question, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

On my currency list from my broker, I see the Brit pound (6B), Canadian Dollar (6C), & other currencies. I don 't see a listing for the US Dollar. Would anyone know what the symbol is?

Thanks for your post.

There isn't a dollar forex future (as forex futures are compared to the us dollar), however, there is a US Dollar Index that measure the strength of the US dollar.

This future is the DX and is currently trading on the 03-14 contract.

Let me know if this is not what you are looking for.

I don't understand why the US Dollar Index ($USDOLLAR) is shown under 'currency' along with all the spot forex. but it when I try to graph it, I get an unknown symbol error. I'm with Kinetick, on "Institutional Premium" forex.

Kinetick does not support CFD instruments such as the $USDOLLAR currency index.

Currently, through NinjaTrader CFD instruments are supported by FXCM.
