what should i do to fix "file open in another program" error

what should I do now that I am getting, in various circumstances, the message
"the action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program". I have tried the following: restarting NT, restoring my backup of NT folders,
restoring strategy files, etc.

Thanks for your post.

This indicates that another program is accessing your NinjaTrader files and you will need to prevent this from happening.

If you have a backup or auto backup program running you will need to pause it while running NinjaTrader.

If you have an anti virus/firewall program installed you will need to add NinjaTrader to it's exceptions list.
You will need to exclude the following directories.
C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7 or C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7
(My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7
