what happened to my cross hair?

If you were to restart NinjaTrader and reconnect to your data provider would the cross hair cursor show the same behavior?

it comes back again, it is not about restart NT, everytime when I want to open a new chart, the line will stay in current chart. I have to click on current chart, the lines disappear...so the problem comes from opening new chart, please see recording http://screencast.com/t/AQ5cuIYfIza

I'm sorry to hear of your frustration.

The performance tips were recommended to you as this type of cross hair artifacting is often indicative of a performance issue. By restarting NinjaTrader, you had cleared the software's memory cache - this also helped to remove the cross hair artifacting which you were seeing in your display however the effect was short lived. So as to reduce the overall memory use of NinjaTrader (which appears to be at issue here) I would still recommend applying the performance tips I'd mentioned.
