Charts Shows "Disabled" - Why?

Hi Everyone - I am a newbie having just uploaded NinjaTrader a couple of days ago. I have been working with it for two or three weeks now and like it very much.

BUT, I have a newbie question please?

After I connect to my data source and get the green light, I open the workspace and up comes my charts, the timer is working, and all is fine.

Then, a few minutes later, I look and the charts all say "DISABLED." So I close the workspaces and re-open, still DISABLED. I close down and reboot Ninja, still DISABLED. Then I reboot computer, no dice.

One minute all seems fine, then DISABLED and I do not know why! All the while I have the green light from the source.... ;-(

I know this is covered elsewhere, somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

Can anyone help the poor newbie please?

Welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forums! Thanks for you interest in NinjaTrader.

If you are referring the BarTimer saying disabled this is mostly due to the markets being closed. When the Markets open back up Sunday afternoon and you are starting to get real-time data you should see the BarTimer come back.
